We would like to invite you to another EU± debate, this time focusing on the impact of the US election on US-EU relations. The debate is organized in cooperation with Jean Monnet Chair TeDEUSS and co-financed with the funds from Europe for Citizens Programme. The event will take place on Thursday, December 3 at 18:30 PM online on our Facebook.

We would like to invite you to the debate "Dialogue: Opinions of Czech Society on the Green Deal" organized in cooperation with STEM Institute of Empirical Research, z.ú. The dialogue will present a survey of Czech society's views on the Green Deal, which was created in cooperation with the STEM Institute of Empirical Research and the Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM. The dialogue will be broadcast live on Wednesday 2 December 2020 from 5.30 pm.

Transatlantic Policy Forum (TAPF) is a closed-door summit for decision-makers and opinion-formers co-organised by EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy with partners. TAPF has been held in Prague every Autumn since 2018 under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

The director of the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, Vladimír Bartovic, was a guest of the broadcast of the Czech Radio Plus station on Sunday, November 29. In the interview, he commented on the current Slovenian cooperation with Hungary and Poland.

Our research fellow Vít Havelka recently published an article on the news portal Info.cz dealing with the financial resources of the European Union – particularly its own resources which aim to ensure financial independence of the EU on Member States.

Our research fellow Zuzana Stuchlíková commented on different positions of the V4 states in the matter of linking European funds drawing with respect for the rule of law. Last week, Hungary and Poland vetoed both the EU’s annual and multi-annual budgets, while Czechia and Slovakia supported it alongside with other Member States.

The director of our Institute Vladimír Bartovic was a guest of the TA3 television on Thursday. He commented on the current situation regarding the European budget and Recovery Fund, which aims to help the EU countries in post-pandemic recovering.
