Michal Vít graduated in European studies at Masaryk University in Brno. He has obtained his doctorate in 2017 in the joint program of Masaryk University and University of Leipzig entitled East and Central Europe in Transnational Perspective. Previously he was associated with the Institute for European Policy (IEP), Berlin and served as a junior research fellow at International Institute of Political Science at Masaryk University. His research focuses on the process of national identities’ forming of political parties in Central Europe. He underwent research fellowships at University of Konstanz and University of Vienna.
